1D, 2D, and 3D Coordination Polymers based on 2,3‐Pyrazinedithiolate and d<sup>10</sup> Metal Ions (Ag<sup>+</sup>, Zn<sup>2+</sup>)

Abstract Dithiolene based coordination polymers, due to their coordinative bonds with covalent character, feature interesting electrical properties. We present the syntheses and crystal structures of three polymers on ligand 2,3‐pyrazinedithiolate (pdt 2− ) Ag + Zn 2+ ions. 2D [Ag 3 (Hpdt) 2 ](ClO 4 ( 1 Cs 1D [Ag(pdt)] ⋅ CH OH short Ag⋅⋅⋅Ag distances, 3D [Zn(pdt)] has a network structure is stable up 480 °C. The optical band gaps are within visible range electromagnetic spectrum. polymer smallest bandgap 1.8 eV, , fully deprotonated ligand, exhibit wider bandgaps 2.5 2.7 respectively.
